Terrier

A sturdy farm dog that protected Irish property for hundreds of years, the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier is square proportioned, graceful, and strong. They have an erect tail and a soft, wavy coat that distinguishes them from other terrier breeds. They are alert and generally genial dogs, although they can have a headstrong temperament, especially when it comes to training. They jump, dig, and bark to alert, although much less than other terrier breeds.
