A big personality in a small package, the Lakeland Terrier is named after the Lakes District in England. They were originally bred as farm dogs, working to protect sheep flocks from foxes. They have a hard and wiry coat that doesn’t shed very much. The coat can be in a variety of colors and they have distinctive V-shaped and folded ears. They are self-assured and bold little dogs that always have a glint in their eyes.
