Smart and gentle dogs, Field Spaniels are also known as “thinking spaniels.” Field Spaniels are demure, kind, and adaptable, as well as trustworthy and tolerant. They make good family companion dogs. They sport super shiny coats in either black or liver that feature feathering stretching across their chests, bellies, and the backs of their legs. They are cousins of the Cocker SpanielSussex Spaniel, and Springer Spaniel, although more rare.
