The Cane Corso is a medium to large dog descended from Roman Mastiffs. They are muscular, athletic, and big-boned without being bulky: think of them as canine bodyguards. Agile and strong, they have a powerful and effortless stride. Originally bred as versatile farm dogs in Italy, they have protection instincts. They are smart and trainable, as well as loyal and devoted to their families.
