The Akbash dog is a Turkish dog, originally bred to guard flocks. They are all-white, large, and muscular, always at the ready. They hold their heads high and exude power, strength, and bravery. Fast when they need to be, the Akbash has long legs, a deep chest, and a Mastiff-like appearance. Male Akbash dogs are significantly taller and heavier than female ones.
